Dear Soccer Friends and Families,

Many of you have probably heard rumors of “big things” happening in Knoxville soccer.  The purpose of this letter is to let everyone know the facts. We can assure you that the truth is more exciting than anything you may have heard. The story begins about 5 months ago when a few people began talking about the possibility of unifying competitive soccer in Knoxville. This eventually led to a meeting about 5 weeks ago between the major soccer entities in Knoxville. This was a significant, historic, and unprecedented event. For the first time ever, representatives from these organizations, who have been intense competitors for years, actually sat down together in the same room to discuss the possibility of working together. This was an open and honest discussion of differences in philosophy and organization. People in that meeting were open to the possibility and acknowledged the potential benefit to all the families and players of competitive soccer in Knoxville. This has led to a series of meetings where various organizational schemes were discussed. We have begun to establish a trust that has never before been seen in Knoxville.

There will be no skills sessions this Friday evening.

Skills sessions will resume on Friday, November 16th.
